Now bar - security issue

Hi.

The now bar on the lockscreen started displaying my music controls (which is great)

But it somehow had a voice recording someone sent me on it. Which could be played on the lockscreen without unlocking the phone and I couldn't swipe it off.

This could be an issue for privacy. Please look into dismissing it somehow.

Ps: I have disabled nowbar music as a precaution for now.

Possibly I could have maybe played a music song to override it.

But the possibility of voice recordings is a bit of a concern

You can swipe away the Now Bar, I suggested something earlier about dismissing stuff. And it turns out you can. You have to tap the media, and when it goes full screen swipe it away from the bottom.

As well as dismissing it there's also the option of selecting what items you want Now Bar to show or not show. Voice recorder is one of them.

I don't have the Now Bar even though it is turned on in the Always on Display.

I was trying swiping from every way possible to get rid of it but couldn't.

Maybe will give it another shot. 😊

Mine came on its on without any interaction. Maybe give it a while.
Also make sure you keep checking for app updates in both stores.

That's interesting I saw some other threads about adding a swiping out feature for the now bar, at least if it's possible when fully expanded it's better than nothing.

I can't get rid of the bbc sounds podcast playing on the lock screen. I've tried swiping it but it won't budge. I've even closed the app and its still there

I do check updates constantly in case, still no joy.
