Been using OneUI7 for about 30 mins now & for most part seems nice & fast.

Only disappointment is the OneUI interface as thought they were going to make app drawer so you could swipe horizontally. Not a game changer but will mean me sticking with Nova still, although no new development on it recently.

You have to press the three dots ... at the bottom of the app drawer on the search bar. Select sort. Alphabetical.

You now have a vertical app drawer.

Please use the Beta Forum 

Using the phone you have the Beta software on.

Go into the Members App and the first page you see should be the Beta Forum.

Unfortunately that not what I'm looking for as that still vertical scroll drawer, was hoping for horizontal scroll.

There is the previously used horizontal page scroll that has been present with previous oneui releases, or the vertical app drawer.

If you are expecting anything additional to these two options then I think you have misunderstood the configuration options.

Just actually worked that out now after watching a YouTube video... & for me is a game changer as means I can ditch Nova Launcher (due to lack of dev) & make use of features like widget stacking now 🔥

Am liking OneUI now after several years avoiding it

Like you, I'd previously used other launchers like Microsoft or Nova, but now prefer to run pure OneUI. I'm pleased there's now a vertical app tray, although the descriptions under ″sort″ in the 3 dots settings is not intuitive.
