Halifax Banking

Anybody bank with halifax (UK) and successfully managed to login to the banking app from a fresh install? Instantly crashes my phone everytime.

No issue with my Halifax app. Just tested and logged in first time with finger print.

Try clearing app data?

All working for me, no crashes and using fingerprint login.

It is possible that some third-party apps will not fully work during the Beta due to compatibility problems.

Anyway, you can try to clear cache of the Halifax app (or reinstall it if necessary). Also check if any application updates are available.

If the situation won't improve, please report this issue via the Samsung Members application so that our developers can have a look into it 😉.

So essentially halifax app was working when I upgraded to beta from android 11, but then due to phone crashes I decided to factory reset, and it's only now when installing from scratch that it's crashing out when trying to log in for the first time...I suspected it was potentially due to seeing it as rooted software

No problems whatsoever here with the Barclays banks app or the HSBC

Thanks for the update, I will avoid doing a factory reset, it seems it may solve a few issues but also create some new ones!

No issues on mine with Halifax app, had similar issue with tik tok and free trade had to uninstall and reintall the apps and worked fine afterwards
