Contactless Payment

Just received a message my device, S22 Ultra, does not support contactless payment via Wallet.

Anyone else have this issue withbthe Beta version?

It's been a thing on every samsung beta for the last 4 years. It's clearly stated on the beta sign up page.
It will start working again when the stable version is released

I also got the message that Google Wallet wouldn't support contactless. But I've used it to pay twice since then. Give it a try to see if yours works too.

Was having issues with Samsung wallet, everytime I went near the card reader, Google wallet opened and stopped me from paying. Embarrassing, as I didn't have my proper card! I've now removed Google, will try Samsung wallet again, but this time with a backup!!

When i gave it a try today then Wallet threw a security error / NFC not supported. Force closed the app, reopened and it was then fully working. S22+.
It is common on Beta (and every Beta I've taken part in) for it not to work correctly due to unsigned security polices and, as @ARamsay says, Beta sign up mentions that banking apps etc may not work correctly. I only tried mine today as a random test.

My Google wallet worked twice the day i installed the beta, but the next morning I got the notification it was no longer compatible. It must only check periodically

As an FYI, Im on Beta 2 and Samsung Pay seems to be working fine so far.

On Beta 2 and just had to revert to physical cards

Yeah you're the exception I think. Definitely samsung wallet isn't working for me. Even reinstalled. Beta bug or just beta issues generally , anyway if you need contactless with your phone I wouldn't do.the Beta. Wait for the release version

Tested Samsung Wallet payment tonight, with back up payment!! Worked all okay. Phew!
