As above. Phone will not go into mode to clear cache partition. Anyone else finding this issue?

Try either plugged into pc or you can use a PS5/4 or Xbox console or USB-C headphones and phone will go into recovery mode and allow cache clearing

Hello @SonOfOdin

Please follow the instruction below:

  1. Turn off your device
  2. Connect your device to the PC via USB (not to the charger)
  3. Wait until the message that the device is being charged appears
  4. Press and hold down the volume up and then power buttons and hold them until the device turns on
  5. Recovery menu should appear
  6. from there select "Wipe cache partition" (you can navigate using volume up/down buttons and confirm with a power button).

Let me know if you've been able to go through this process successfully. 🙂

I had trouble, but once connected to a PC (not chromebook) it worked

I had never heard about something else other than a headset or PC, that's good to know.

I used a set or wired headphones last night to clear the cache. Trying to sort out the watch5 manager update keeps crashing

@SamSon12345, In some cases yes. It is recommended to clear cache partition every now and then. Personally, I always do this after an software update.
