I have to say half the bug fixes I hardly noticed and are very subtle fixes. It's a finished product and they managed to fix it more with now noticeable improvements.
- I'm not sure if the animations got a refresh rate boost or its slightly slower but I certainly noticed it and I like it.
- the colour pallete issue I mentioned at the start, thank you for addressing it and changing it. Its not perfect but it's way better than pastel like colours.
- very noticeable battery life improvements!
- did they improve on the camera slightly? I'm noticing better blacks now in the dark
- fps boost in gaming
There are a few bugs that have now surfaced to me. I'll be reporting these in error reports.
- Split keyboard seems to be broken completely now while showing a circle on it indicating its new/updated on the keyboard.
- S Pen still has occasional issues. I made a thread on this somewhere
- Animations aren't finished with weather app. Snow, thunder and fog for example show very simple almost still like animations. Kinda sucks...
My suggestions for the future builds/Android 14...
- Just copy Apple at this point and give us a better lock screen and how Apple takes advantage of the new design with animations. Everyone loves it!
- Tablet users get animated icons. Would be a nice touch for us to get that too. The user experience feels lifeless on phones and even then animations in the background would be nice too. You did this with the lock screen...
- Set bixby by default instead of Google assistant. It's a Samsung device after all...
- More theme colour pallets!
- Weather app to display local weather news. I'm not from the USA but shows me incoming hurricanes from there.
- Force colour change in app icons (probably should be in dev tools)
- Going on with animations again, please make it so the phone feels like it has life in it. Apple did this beautifully in iOS16.
Love to see your ideas too
