I have the same problem with an S21 and a Hyundai Tucson MY2021.
Very frustrating, very annoying, very bad that this problem has not been solved after so many months and updates from Samsung.

Same problem on s21 ultra in 2022. I have tried another Samsung device and and iOS device and they're amazingly smooth. Mine is very laggy. Please do something

Hello.
Same issue here, have tried everything. Changing cables and as well doing it wireless using "AAWireless".
It is any kind of incompatibility between Hyundai/KIA Gen5W Head Unit and the S21 series. Maybe any issue with the Exynos processor?. You can read in several forums the same problem.
I have tried my mobile with a Toyota Corolla and works great.
Please Samsung, contact Hyundai and find a solution as it makes Android Auto completely useless.
Same car, with a S8 edge works great (both cable and wireless)
Same car and iPhone works smooth like butter.

Today my car had an update of the operative system. And suddenly Android Auto is running smooth... I will have to see if it is something temporal of finally after several months there has been and agreement betweeh Hyundai and Samsung to fix the issue.
