Dear Community,
My Samsung Odyssey G7 from July 2020 has lost rows of pixels in the left lower part of the screen (pictures shown below). It looks as if the left lower part of the VA panel is folded towards the inside of the monitor like paper folding inside. Right now it shows that there is a line of pixels which are just not shown anymore. The desktop mouse on the pictures fades away behind the screen as shown.
You can imagine it looked pretty weird to me while I was gaming and I noticed missing footage. If anyone could let me know what I could do about this, I'd be grateful. Monitor was bought at Samsung, but doubt they will do anything about (without me paying). I'm pretty handy, but first I'd like to know what's going on before I do something. Thanks in advance anyone!

Hallo @WirelessIntelligence,
Thank you for your message. Have you also tried plugging the powerplug out of the socket for 5 minutes to see if it comes back afterwards? Have you also checked if this happens when you set your screen at a different HZ?
With kind regards,
Ajay

Hello Ajay,
Unfortunately, switching Hz or removing power adapter won't work.
As shown in my picture below, the VA panel seems curved backwards from the outward panel. When using a flashlight, the gap can be seen between the regular outer black panel and the va panel that has moved inward
Hoping anyone has a possible fix

Thank you for your response and photo WirelessIntelligence,
It is then best to register the monitor for a repair. See the link below to register it. Let me know when it is registered,
With kind regards,
Ajay
