Heb net nieuwe pc aangeschaft en er de EasySettingMSIx64 op geïnstalleerd. Echter aan het startscherm ervan bemerkte ik dat het de juiste versie niet was en die werkte trouwens ook niet. Dus die installatie er terug al gehaald en dan de versie EasySettingMSIx32 proberen te installeren maar daar krijg ik de foutmelding: "The installer was interrupted before Easy Setting Box could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again." Heb dat al enkele malen gedaan met telkens hetzelfde resultaat. (Zie foto) Weet iemand hoe dit op te lossen?

En heb je het bestand al eens als Administrator utigevoerd?

Daarnaast kwam ik het volgende tegen: 

One of the possible reasons that it is not getting installed because IIS6 management compatibility is not configured on IIS. So let’s see the steps to configure it.

1) Go to Control Panel -> Program and features -> Turn Windows Features on or off

2) Click on Internet Information Services and it should look like

3) If IIS6 management compatibility is not checked then it could be a issue. Please select it as

4) And click Apply/Ok.

Once the above steps completes. You should be able to install the installer on your machine.

IS7+ is completely overhauled and there are many breaking changes in it. IIS7 introduced two modes Classic and Integrated mode. Integrated mode combines the modules of IIS and ASP.NET when application runs in Integrated Mode. All the metadata moved to different file in IIS7. So If an application uses the features of IIS6 then it should configure the IIS6 management compatibility in IIS7.

Het bestand in kwestie had ik inderdaad via de link die je opgegeven hebt gedownload.

Als administrator uitvoeren is denk toch 'rechts klik' en dan optie 'als administrator uitvoeren' kiezen. Wel die optie staat er bij mij niet bij.

Wel heb ik ook nagekeken of het ISS6 management compatibility was geconfigureerd en dat bleek niet het geval. Dus, gedaan zoals in het gegeven voorbeeld. 

En hoera, nu kon ik de Easy setting box wel installeren.

Kan dus dit puntje afvinken van de probleemlijst 'Nieuwe PC' 

Volgende is Outlook aan de praat krijgen, maar dat is jouw probleem natuurlijk niet.
