LC34F791WQU - 1) not automatically starting 2) no sound, need restart

Got 2 annoying issues

After a normal shutdown of the system.

1) The monitor will not automatically start when I turn on the PC. The screen will stay black until I press the button on the back a couple of times till I see the DisplayPort selected is.

2) When finally booted in Windows 10 there is no sound. I need to turn off the monitor and start it again to get the sound working.

I'm using the cables I got with the monitor. I tried it with the DisplayPort and the HDMI cable. My old monitor worked like a charm. The video card is an MSI VEGA 56 OC, the motherboard is an Asus ROG Z390-F.

Do you have any other source you could try, just to see if where the issues are coming from?

Looks like its working, I got some cheap-ass Ali-Express HDMI cables and it looks like they are doing the job. The 0,80 euro cents cable are better than the ones I got with my 650 euro monitor. Hmmmm

Ye, that doesn't sound good. The only think I could do is request a new cable, maybe the one you got is defective.
