key pad # key lock on , no function in Windows 11. tried several ways.

Numerical keypad is not functioning, 

connect external keyboard with numerical keypad and switch "

on " keypad also does not function.

please let me know what to do to solve this

Thank you for your message. Of course you expect that the keyboard fully functions. Check; is laptop fully up-tp-date and have you also restarted it?

Yes , Several times i tried to restart and update windows. 
It is the numerical keuboard. 

when I have to logon onto my laptop i have my loging code including a series of numbers. If i switch on the Num Lock the keypad works. As soon as windows is up and running the button NumLock is functioning ( as this shows in the screen with lock and unlock visual) however the numerbs i can not type . Nor in Excel , Powerpoint,Word and any other application .

Yes tried several times.
When I need to type my startup paswoord I use the numerical keyboard and than it is ok.
After Windows startup and I am logged in to labtop the keyboard numlock indicator works but no functionality in all applications.

Before it happened did you changed something in Time & Language ---> Language & region settings? Or do you experience this from the start?

It worked in the beginning but later it stopped.
Language etc I did not change.
Rember,tried several keyboards with numerical keyboard.
If I press to switch on it also shows on the screen …numlock on / off
