@BCTVProductions: It is possible that the date is changing to the date that the photos were added to your Galaxy A71, as opposed to the date that they were originally captured. For clarity, if you open the photo in the Gallery app, then swipe upwards, is the date showing incorrectly here? As a workaround, you may wish to try uploading the images to a cloud storage service such as OneDrive or Google Photos, then downloading them via your A71 to see if this makes a difference.
