Hi everyone

If i buy a used samsung SSD off ebay will i be able to register it for warranty with samsung???

drive was manufactured Jan 2021.

Not really. It's also suspicious such a new drive of that size would be for sale on eBay. Maybe stolen

@lee50: The 870 QVO 8TB comes with a 3 year warranty (or 2,880 TB TBW) that activates on the date of purchase, so you won't need to register it, however the warranty will be valid from the original purchase date.

suspicious mind at work! the drive in question belongs to me and was purchased off amazon, i am reselling it on ebay as i need the money and wanted to know if the new buyer would be covered by any warranty
