Hello Folks,
I purchase a usb-c 256 GB flash drive from Samsung UK store. It seems to work but, when I try to do a full format - it fails every time.
In my experience this usually is a sign of a problem which will come to light in due course.
I contacted Samsung Chat Support and they made a case and today responded today saying I have to ship it Netherlands at my cost which is insane.
Not sure, what to do. It's so annoying to end up here after buying stuff from official Samsung store.
Any thoughts, please?

@DJUK1 if you are resident in the UK a bit strange you would need to pay for shipping to Netherlands. if quick format does not work are you able to try formatting in the NTFS format (if you are only using Windows)? some information here https://www.salvagedata.com/how-to-fix-cant-format-usb-flash-drive/
