I have a bunch of samsung 850 evo SSDs and I would like to update their firmware. I tried downloading the magician software for linux, extracted the archive, and ran:
sudo ./magician -L
but none of the 850 evo drives are detected.

I clearly do have two working drives connected because they show up in the drives menu so something seems wrong here.

Oh great, nobody of samsung has reported to this support inquiry. I'll consider that the next time i'll buy a samsung product.
