I have a Samsung Pro - Model No NP940X5N Input Entrada.

Three different times this evening when typing an email the screen has suddenly gone blank and white for no apparent reason. I switched off the computer left it for a short while re booted and got the email screen and part message back again. I  have done a virus check and eliminated a couple of Adware viruses but it is still happening.  I also checked the hardware but I can't see any errors being displayed.

Has anyone seen this sort of behavior before and know what could be causing this?

I did look in the logs and did find this but not sure if this is a red herring?

Application: IntelAudioService.exe

Framework Version: v4.0.30319

Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.

Exception Info: System.NullReferenceException

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Thanks for getting back to  me, It's only about 3 years old, I'll contact Samsung using your link as they should be able to do a diag on the graphics card.

There's a known issue with Windows 11 and Intel Audio Service, it is possible it is contributing to the issue but also look for an updated GPU driver. Both are available on the Intel website support page or as an optional update via Windows Update

Do you know if there is any software out there to test the graphics card or is there anything you know I could try to test if the card is faulty?

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks Steve
