Hi all,

This utterly annoying notification pops up every time the monitor turns on, either from power-off state or standby. It's been almost three weeks and it is still showing. I can't believe I paid over 1k€ for a monitor that has such an annoying and useless "feature".

Will it ever go away or can it be turned off in some hidden service menu? The firmware has been updated to the latest.

I have the same issue and Samsung help said they will get back to me in 72 hours!!!!!

They don't even know how to resolve their own issues.

I have wasted so much time on this. The buttons on that notification don't even work.

The only reason I registered this was because it was a new device and I wanted this stupid notification to disappear. I restarted my computer, no luck. I searched for this issue and it has a solution for androids, but not for a DESKTOP MONITOR. Grrr. Very frustrated.

I am having the same problem and it has been months. I have tried registering the device but the annoying pop up still shows up every time. Even more annoying, it covers up the window for logging in, so it makes it difficult to start using my computer. I have gotten to the point where I disconnect the laptop from the monitor when I am booting up because it is such a pain. I have registered the product but that does nothing. Why would Samsung spam their own customers?

I just got fed up trying to fix the problem when even Samsung does not know how to fix it. How can a company sell a product with an unfixable glitch? Too bad, because I liked the monitor. I took it back and bought a HP monitor that worked perfextly after I plugged it in. Saved $500 in the long run bying an HP. During my research it appears they have otheritems that have the same notification issues getting stuck on their screens. I won't be buying any more Samsung items if I have a choice.
