I just formatted 2 USB sticks on my Samsung phone.  They were supposed to be in Windows format... PC no longer recognises either disk and both appear to be complete writeoffs.  Can I sue Samsung for recovery of cost for both sticks (120€) ?

No, you can't sue Samsung, it's not Samsung's fault you can't work a computer.

If you plug them in and windows doesn't recognise them, go in to disk management and it should bring them back to life, just Google how to use disk management, even if windows doesn't see them, disk management will , and hopefully sort them out

Disk manager and delete the volume, then create a new partition using one of the windows formats.

@Bt126ar You may well need to use Disk Management and create a new partition. However firstly does Windows have the latest updates?
