Samsung Book2Pro and Buds2 Pro - microphone still unuseable

Two updates in as many days for the Windows 11 Buds app, including BLE audio, sadly the microphone is still a disaster (barely audible), and the seamless connection does not work, it has to be performed manually every time.

Even disabling all other input, outputs the same

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So another Windows 11 update and now i cannot even connect the Buds2 Pro to my Book2 Pro.

After finally resetting the Buds2 Pro from my mobile, removing them from the mobile and laptop BT settings, then repair (even turned off my mobile), finally connected them to the Book2 Pro, but now only the right ear bud works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHeck with my ZFold4 all fine.

Come on Samsung, i am using my Book2 Pro today for work, but work have also given me a MacBook Pro 16" in addition to an existing Dell, both the latter just work, even the ***** MacBook.

Is it too much to ask ?

Or has Samsung as usual given up and moved onto the next idea instead of developing ideas beyond marketing hype.

Hi there, @Obsydian. I want to ensure that you get your Buds2 Pro paired with your Book2 Pro and that the sound output is working as expected again. The issues that you've referenced are unusual and I've been unable to replicate these myself. 

For clarity, please can you confirm which microphone you were referencing in your first post?

Secondly, even though I understand you've probably already checked this, please can you let me know whether the Seamless earbud connection is toggled On via the Galaxy Buds app on your Book2 Pro?

Finally, have you tried resetting your Buds via the app on your Book2 Pro (as I know that you've already done this on your phone)?

Hi Paul, thanks any help is appreciated.

This item in the first snip is trying to also check if the input on the laptop is working, but as you can see it say no jack info, i then also removed all the other headsets to rule that out, i suppose it highlights how many headsets micrphone work, but not the Samung Bud2 Pro.

Note my son has a pair of Buds2 Pro, so i ruled out any hardware issues for the laptop or the buds.

Double checked the seamles and auto switch, on then off, then on, a reboot of everything, unpairing the bds from my mobile and tablet and resettting the Buds 2 Pro also.

Whatever i do the microphone input via laptop is inaudible, eventweaking windows ound control settings to the max, making it the default, not the default device.

I recall reading a few months ago, so it is nothing new, just more incensed by it, that it is a known Samung issue, but Samsung blame Window, but the laptop is SAMSUNG.

Anyway any other suggestions are appreciated

Ingrave up on that quite sometime ago as the starting, via Samsung customer services, passed around various trams, scratching their heads, sadly the least help.

At least ideas on this forum, a have posted a few times on thr topic gave specific pointers, but no solution.

A laptop and Buds combo where the microphone doesn't work, is a pretty useless laptop for video or voice calling.

So having spent (wasted) a lot more time with Samsung support and many hours on my own i managed to get it to work, but Samsung really are losing the plot with regard to any semblance of a seamless ecosystem.

I summary you cannot use my ZFOLD4, Buds2 Pro, Book2 Pro (exclude Tab S8 Ultra), as an ecosystem, at times i had to turn off BT on my ZFOLD4 and still issues.

Book2 Pro Connectivity Issues/Findings

Cannot be connected to a monitor (even my Samsung M7 USB Monitor)

Seamless connection DOES NOT WORK

Seamless connection if on randomly switches back to the mobile (idle mode)

Voice detection and other functions must be deactivated
