I have purchased the Book2 I5 15.6 WIFI in late August 2022, some issues with John Lewis meant last Thursday it was due to be returned, so Friday i jumped and went for the Book2 Pro EVO i5 5G, so thought a quick comparison might benefit someone.
SUMMARY - the Book2 I5 15.6 WIFI seems a cracking purchase for the price, for the battery and display are the let downs, but it is not worth the extra £650. That said for me it is.
Samsung - Book2 I5 15.6 WIFI - £599
I have liked everything about this device except no backlit keyboard, no Super AMOLED display and battery life was 3 -4 hours screen on time
Samsung - Book2 Pro EVO i5 5G - £1249
Battery life is easily 6-7 hrs screen on time !!!!, standby is crazy long, keyboard has a backlight and in general it feels more premium and a better touch/travel. The display is like but not as good as my Tab S8 Ultra and i love the darken areas not in focus. A Thunderbolt port is also a big plus. The EVO setup probably drives the battery and performance improvements. I went for a graphite and every ***** finger print shows up, not easy to remove. Overall the device "feels" lighter, slimmer and more premium.
