I have just installed a 990 Pro 2Tbyte ssd and it is showing as a 970 Evo 500gbyte. My 980 ssd is showing fine in the magician. Any help would be appreciated. I have a MSI Meg z490 godlike motherboard running Windows 11.
I have the same issue. Did you solve it? Samsung 990 Pro 1TB is recognized as 990 Pro 1TB, but Samsung 990 Pro 2TB model is recognized as 970 Evo 500 model.
Afraid not, I sent it back as faulty. Was going to get another one but now I know the problem is not only mine I think I shall replace it with the 980 Pro that I know works fine. Thanks for the reply.
