Hi everyone,
we own a Samsung Odyssey G55C, which is in use since 15th September 2024.
So far no isses, but a few days ago suddenly display errors started to appear:
this grew bigger and also at the right edge of the screen sometghing started. Both also visible if only powering Monitor on and PC still switched off (so it's for sure not about settings, connection cable or graphics card):
Today the biggest "black spot" grew even bigger (and it looks like that it's somehow moving slowly to the left)
and there is a brand new sport at the bottom edge:
I can definitely exclude any damage to the screen by physical force - still the seller from Amazon tells me this is no case for warranty and must be a mechanical damage by pressing the screen to firmly (which for sure is not the case here as the screen was not moved since the first day it got in use!)
Has anyone ever seen something similar? This is our first curved display, maybe this is something typical? Maybe it goes away by itself? (I don't believe so)
Any help would be appreciated.
