How to clean screen

I cannot seem to get smudges off my Book2 Pro, i normally use a Ziess type lens cleaner for all my devices, but just reading the Samsung line is no more than a damp soft lint cloth 😨

Hi, @Obsydian. You may have consulted this already, but I just wanted to check, as I know that you'll be keen to keep your brilliant Book2 Pro looking as pristine as possible.

Thanks Paul, I have a pack on cloths will try without any cleaning products, I never knew they are not recommended 😀

I don't know if it's good to use on your screen but I use a glasses cleaner ( 100% alcohol) and it cleans the screens on all my Samsung phones and tablet

Microfiber cloth does a great job too, no need to use anything else

That's what I use but I find on the laptop it just smears.

That's strange, I see in your original message you say a smudge, do you think it might have a substance on it like glue ? Or has it been on it since you bought it?

No brand new cloth and Ziess lens spray

I don't know what else to try that would be safe to use. Maybe contacting the place where you purchased it and asking them for advice. I hope that you find a resolution 🙂

Seems the answer from Samsung and a quick Google is no OEM really advises using cleaners, bar Apple who mention a 70% alcohol type or there £19 polishing cloth 🤔
