Galaxy Book4 Pro Performance

I Have a Galaxy Book4 Pro and a Galaxy Book (1st Gen) Pro both using W11. Starting the Delphi 2007 IDE on the on Book4 takes nearly a minute while doing the same on the Book takes 12 secs. This is under identical conditions with the Book4 set to high performance - and it uses a Samsung 990 1TB SSD for the c: drive. All settings on the Book4 are set to high performance with ac plugged in. Tried all the usual Dism and sfc checks - no errors. Got all the latest drivers installed and Windows updates. Nothing works. However, after the first app starts on Book4, it then loads at a normal speed! Some other apps have exactly the same problem Any ideas anyone?

Ok, found the problem at long last. Setting 'Processor Scheduling' > 'Adjust for best performance of' to 'Programs' fixed the issue. This setting can be found in Settings>About>Advanced system settings>System properties> >Advanced>Performance>Advanced.

Disappointedly, no replies or insights. Using my new Galaxy Book4 is like going back to pre-XP days; it is so slow and sluggish especially when running Delphi development programs. I don't know if there is a reason for this and have tried everything to make it run faster. Quite frankly a real disappointment compared to my 1st gen Galaxy Book considering it's much higher specs.

Well, I have used the PerformanceTest app to check the performance of both my Samsung Galaxy notebooks, and my Book4 is much faster than my Book. Hence, it can't be a hardware issue and the Book4 is not the culprit after all. There must be some app running that causes a delayed first loading of many of my apps. I have noticed though that the Book4 appears to give a much better performance score when the laptop is held above my wooden desk rather than sitting directly on it. A heat issue!

my 1 month old book pro4 360 is so slow that i type and the characters appear 3 seconds later. Windows open 30 seconds later and restart takes 5 minutes. This is such a disappointment.
