Galaxy book SM-W620NZKBDBT: battery limit at 85%

Hi,

The battery of our Galaxy Book is only charged to a maximum of 85%. I can rule out the possibility that it is defective. The computer has been used very rarely and the limit has been exactly 85% for several months.

Yesterday, I performed a calibration of the battery (via the bios) - without success.

Windows 11 is currently installed.

I seem to recall that I once enabled this limit in Windows 10 - when it was still installed. But now Windows 11 home is installed and I can't find the appropriate option. In the Bios this limitation can not be switched on/off.

Can I be helped there?

Look at the changing info.... as 85% is the recommended charging for optimal battery life.

There should be a battery life extender folder under samsung folder under all programs by the looks of it

Click on start > Samsung settings > on the left click on battery and performance > on the right under battery protect turn it to off and it will charge to 100%
