I have an old Mini DV camers (VP-D362); when plugging it into my laptop (windows 7) some of the drivers have loaded (usb etc.) but the main camcorder driver won't load. I know it's a very old machine, and probably drivers only go up to Vista, but are these drivers available anywhere else? Looking online has led me to lots of places that just re-direct you to Driver Updater and then to a 3rd party pay request!
Basically IO'm trying to use the USB function to capture it onto digital - I have one very old laptop with an IEEE1394 port but this has just cr@pped out on me, so this is the only other option (I think), as my newer laptop doesn't have an expansion slot to put a new firewire port in and I don't think theres a way to do this through the multi av port?
So thanks for anything you can suggest

Hi Nick, I'm having the same problem with mine and have loads of old videos I want to save. Did you manage to find a Windows 7 driver or get an answer to this.
