If you are using Google chrome (or any other browser, internet explorer for example) to access Facebook on the Internet, in the top right corner, you should see three symbols which look like this - □ ×
The - will miminise the Web page but not close it allowing you to reopen where you left off - you will need to select the Internet or app again though at the bottom in the task bar.
The □ will make it full screen or smaller (which I think you are experiencing now)
The × will close the webpage and you will need to try again to access.
