I tried to register my M.2 NVMe SSD Model MZ-V8V500 but it says it can't validate it. The chips beneath the sticker looks OK for a legitimate SSD.

Hi, @hcccs. I edited your post slightly to remove the serial number, as this is personal to you and is best not disclosed on this public platform.
The warranty is effective from your purchase date and only an extended warranty (where available) would need to be registered separately.
Please can you advise where you're trying to register your SSD?

Cheers @hcccs ! That's the Samsung US site. If you're not based in the US, and it's not a US product, that might be why it's not working for you. 🤔 Are you able to let us know if you're trying to register it through your own country's Samsung website and if you get any joy with that?
(Same for you @Ric76 .)

I'm having the same issue. I bought this at Canada Computers so it's legitimate. Plus it recognizes the serial number (once I found out that the last digit of the SN is on the module itself). I am on the Canadian Samsung site. The model number is the same on the receipt, package, module and advertised on Samsung site. It requires 5 characters to search and as soon as I put in the 5th character it says it is not right. I tried with and without hyphen and dropping the MZ but it will not accept anything past the 4th character but requires 5 to search. Model is MZ-V9S2T0 (MZ-V9S2T0B/AM)
