Bios Update for Wake Options (NP300)

Hi folks,

I've got an old Samsung laptop. An NP300E5A-A06DX to be exact.

I've been trying to put it to use in a project, but the current BIOS installed on it (03QA) don't have any wake options available. I was hoping to find a Resume on Power or Wake on LAN but neither are here.

So, I was wondering if a newer revision of the BIOS would have added one of these options. I checked the support page but there's only Windows drivers there, no new BIOS versions. Would anybody know where I should look to find a newer version of the BIOS I can flash to this?

If it's not on Samsung.com, I'd advise against flashing anything else, as it could brick the laptop.

I'd bite the bullet, trade it in and get another model.

That's unfortunately. I was hoping there was some official Samsung Bios versions floating around other than what shipped on it.
I think I'll stick with what I have, so I'll just live with turning it on manually. Thanks for the input SocietyGirl.
