bios update fails

when I try to update to latest bios on my galaxy book pro the app runs and laptop just reboots back to windows without updating the bios

Make sure it's running on mains power and the battery is charged more than 50%

it is on main power and fully charged

maybe the downloaded firmware is corrupt and not passing the checksum for flashing then or for another model than yours. double check if you downloaded this firmware manually that it is really for your laptop.

I have downloaded manually and through Samsung Update multiple times and it still fails

Then you need to contact Samsung via online support as something is definitely wrong with your laptop, this is a user community rather than a means of getting official support.

I tried to update BIOS for Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 360

I tried everything that I found online, but nothing worked.

I phoned the Samsung support and I was advised to charge the laptop to 80% and it will update for sure.

I charged the laptop at 80% and kept it plugged and the BIOPS updateed without any problem

Do not try to restore to factory settings.

I do believe the solution mentioned above is the first you should try after

update windows, optimise memory using the samsung device care/update

I think it is better  you phone Samsung support rather than chatting online with Samsung Support

My microphone driver disappeared. I phoned Samsung support and agreed for them to log in remotely to my laptop (under my supervision), and they explained how to fix the problem.
