I read that there would be a 2TB 980 Pro with part number MZ-V8P2T0BW, but I have yet to see any official release date or product specs. Is it still happening or should I just get the 1TB model instead?

Is that the case for all 980 Pro's or just the 2TB? It is definitely a legit Samsung drive isn't it 😆

It's all the 980s I think. Samsung Magician shows the drive as Genuine.Screenshot 2021-02-17 112504.jpg

Someone on the Gigabyte forum also had to use the MS driver for his 980 so it's upto Samsung now

Another question. Did the SSD come with M.2 screws?

Many are motherboard specific so make sure you have the right ones. It's worth asking Scan if they have spares, if they've got demo boards or done builds they might have spare screws lying around.

It's all good managed to get the stand off and screw on amazon so it's all installed and working now. Their data migration tool worked really well.
