980 Pro 2TB model?

I read that there would be a 2TB 980 Pro with part number MZ-V8P2T0BW, but I have yet to see any official release date or product specs. Is it still happening or should I just get the 1TB model instead?

CCL said today there's been a 'stock delay' until February, yet I was informed it was in stock and was able to place the order. I've asked them to cancel the order and refund it, their loss.

Existence confirmed! This is from Samsung official page, it says 'za' in the address (South Africa). Anyway this is the first official confirmation from Samsung that a 2TB will be available - it even has a picture of the box on the page.

Just found it on the US version of the site as well. Says it's available for pre- order for $429.99 and says it ships by January 29th. Link is below

What are the chances that this isbgoing to be the same as all the new GPUs and CPUs that AMD and Nvidia released and they will just sell out instantly

I hope not! I think these are more specialist products though, the 1TB is in stock on Amazon and has been for weeks.

Still not seen it available in the UK yet but we are gonna be waiting a while. The US Samsung site has changed it's release date of it from the 29th January to the 27th February

I've just seen this, looks interesting. I need to make sure the heatsink will fit under my CPU cooler. Samsung might lose my custom if they delay too long.
