Looking for drivers for Samsung NVMe drive for an older Linux system. It will be used as data drive only so boot is not needed. There is no driver for NVMe loaded on the system but I can see the card and details on the PCIe bus.

Keyman,

Wonder if my issue may be similar. Am trying to boot Elsie/ Debian from 970 Evo plus from M.2 slot on gigabyte board (H97-D3H ).  In theory, F7 bios on board supports nvme boot drive, but no luck booting. File show, but not able to boot.

Since my board is also older, wonder if the issue may be Samsung driver related. Appreciate thoughts which you may have.

Thank-you,

john
