We have had a few Samsung interactive displays delivered and everyone is having an issue where it stops playing sound through the board when connected via a hdmi cable to a laptop. Have updated audio drivers and done restarts and the board eventually will play sound again. This seems to last a couple of days and we hit the same issue again. Just wondering has anyone experienced similar issues?

HDMI  transmits audio as well as video practically every HDMI device has an audio device. 

I think the problem is when you're connecting the HDMI device to the laptop it's changing the default audio  from it's on board audio to the HDMI audio to the new HDMI instead of the laptop.

you're going to have to specifically mark which default audio device is are within whatever OS you're using and perhaps make sure the audio devices are not exclusive. this is not an issue with other monitors.

Have changed the default audio to the board but the sound issue is still a problem. A power cycle of the laptop seems to eventually solve it but it's not exactly ideal when it seems to happen randomly. These laptops have been connected to other interactive boards before being replaced and never had the issue.
