34" Ultrawide WQHD SJ55 Monitor flicks on and off

Hi Forum,

I hope you're all safe and well.

I was hoping maybe someone could help, I've recently bought the LS34J550WQUXEN (Who names these...). As much as it is a lovely monitor and the perfect size, i have this issue that at random times my monitor screen goes black and comes back on almost instantly and when this happens, the source pops up in the top left corner - as if someone's pulled out my HDMI cable and put it back in instantly.

I have an 1050ti GPU, granted it's old - however, i have checked and confirmed it should be able to run this monitor. Albeit, until I can get a new GPU, I can't run it in its recommended resolution.

Any possible solutions or do i seriously just need to wait until i can get a new GPU?

hello

try plugging the HDMI cable to HDMI port2

then install the driver from this link (for Windows only)

let us know the results 😉

I have exact same problem with exact same monitor. It is not your graphics card. It is the monitors fault. Apparently they are defective.
