Samsung Electronics has been ranked fifth in Interbrand’s 100 Best Global Brands 2021.
Interbrand has been the world’s leading brand consultancy for over forty years. Every year since 2000, the company has published a report on the world’s most valuable brands to provide consumers and the market with important insights into the state of these brands. It evaluates businesses’ brand value based on a comprehensive analysis of factors such as financial performance and brand influence.
Samsung first entered the top five last year, which means that 2021 is the second year in a row that the company has maintained this position. But that’s not the only reason 2021 is special: this year the company has seen its largest increase in brand value since 2013!
Interbrand explained that the major factors that contributed to Samsung’s growth included the company’s transition to a customer-centric management system, which includes the establishment of a new Customer Experience team. Interbrand also highlighted Samsung’s ongoing efforts for sustainable development, including various campaigns guided by its corporate social responsibility campaign, ‘Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People’, along with company-wide initiatives to promote sustainability, like our use of eco-packaging for TVs and the Galaxy Upcycling program.
