Note: this hack is applicable to all Galaxy Z Fold models
Back in August, Samsung Electronics launched the Galaxy Z Fold3. Its amazing 7.6-inch Infinity Flex display is perfect for multitasking, watching films, playing games, or just about anything you can think of! And its 6.2-inch folded screen is ideal for use on the go.
Now, if you’re anything like us here at the Community, your phone is probably bursting with screenshots. Memes, funny tweets, nice photos, articles, Instagram stories… And with the Galaxy Z Fold3’s two amazing screens, you’ll want to take more screenshots than ever. But with its multiple screens, you might not be sure where to begin. Read on to find out how to take a screenshot on your Galaxy Z Fold!
Note: these methods work when the device is both folded and unfolded.
Hard keys
Press and hold the power key and the volume down key at the same time. The screen will flash when the screenshot has been taken.
Bixby
Use Bixby voice commands. Say “Hi Bixby. Screenshot” to take a screenshot. To take another, say “Hi Bixby, another screenshot”.
Palm swipe
Swipe the edge of your hand across the screen in either direction. To activate this feature:
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the quick panel
- Tap on the settings app (it’s the little cog symbol in the top right corner)
- Tap “Advanced features” then select “Motions and gestures”
- Toggle the switch next to “Palm swipe to capture”
