How to register a product in Samsung Members

When you get a brand-new Samsung product, the first thing you want to do is set it up and start using it. And that’s only natural; Samsung does, after all, have some incredible products. But the second thing you should do when you buy a new Samsung product is to register it on the Samsung Members app.

When you register your product on the Members app, you get all sorts of benefits. If you ever need customer service, all the product details are immediately available, making it easier to find any information you might need. You can also download the latest manuals and search for relevant FAQs so you can make the most of your product. As well as all this, you can also get extended warranty for certain products!

How to register your product using the Samsung Members app

1. Open the Samsung Members app, then tap Support
2. Tap register

Here, you have several options for how to register your product:

QR code

1. Tap “Scan” under QR code. To use this feature, you’ll need to allow permissions in settings
2. Scan the QR code on the sticker. You can normally find this on the back side of the product or the packaging it came in
3. Select what kind of product you’re registering
4. You may need to add some more product details to complete the registration

Wi-Fi

1. Tap “Scan” under Wi-Fi
2. The product will appear on the screen
3. Select the product type

Manual input or barcode

1. Tap “Enter info” under Manual input or barcode
2. Select your product type
3. Manually input your product details
4. You can also tap the barcode icon to scan the product’s barcode. If you want to use this feature, you’ll need to allow permissions in settings
5. Tap “Register”
