I would like to request the inclusion of an automatic bypass charging feature in your upcoming smartphones. This feature would allow the phone to operate directly on power from the charger when the battery level reaches a predefined threshold (e.g., 80% or 90%), bypassing the battery to avoid unnecessary charging cycles. Additionally, I would appreciate it if this feature could be activated automatically without the need for manual intervention from the user.

I believe this enhancement would be highly valued by many users who primarily use their phones in stationary settings, such as at the office or home, where the phone remains plugged in for extended periods. By minimizing the battery's charge cycles, this feature could significantly extend its overall lifespan.

I'm getting back to you regarding your suggestion.

Following feedback from our services, I'm pleased to inform you that the option you're looking for is already available in Settings > Device Maintenance > Battery > Battery Protection.

You'll then see the various options.

However, you must set it manually (for example, to 80% or 90%, depending on your preference), as the device's normal settings require it to charge to 100%.

I'd also like to remind you that this is the French Samsung Community, so I recommend posting in French to help other users who don't speak English better understand your messages 😊.

I was talking about automatic bypass charging, but your solution not bypassing anything, sorry but you didn't get the point i think. Thanks anyway
