Always on display Galaxy S8

Hi, I have a problem with always on display fonction since I did the update of my Galaxy S8. The technical guide describes that when you double clic on any notification icone, the full description of your notification opens.

When I follow the instructions then the screen becomes totaly black. I need to disable and reactivate the fonction so that it works.

Hi, have you consulted thye manuel for your téléphone to see if all right settings are in place ? I saw for example that you have to unlock the screen first if it's locked..

Thanks for your answer. In fact there is always this icon on the screen when always on display is activated, it looks like the reminder icon but it dosen't. I dont know what it is exactly, but no matter I think it is normal. Thanks again.
