I have an old phono only surround system that sounds great. I'm considering an optical to phono converter box (they are not expensive).
Is the tu7000 optical output stereo only or 5.1 and if so is it AC3 (I understand DD+ isn't supported through optical)
It would be nice to get connected and surrounded without too much expense.
