I am struggling to source any official downloads for the drivers to directly connect my camera to my laptop. The drivers I have sourced are also unable to find the device.

Again it is a VP-D21i

Any help would be appreciated.

@Alex277: Sadly I haven't been able to find any information regarding this model. You may wish to try downloading the codec for another camcorder model via the link below, but I understand that its a bit of a stretch.
