Thought Samsung's new HD HDR portable projector deserved a thread here, I also mentioned it along with other products in my CES thread.  Can adjust the angle by up to 180° in a few clicks and connect to an external Battery pack on the Move. Supports screen mirroring and  can choose from other 20 backgrounds, including your own photos.   Can register your interest on the Samsung site. It will be able to  project image sizes from 30 to 100 inches. Lost interest as soon as the price was announced. Not paying additional £250 approx against US prices $899 £650 approx). And being offered a £100 discount makes no difference whatsoever. Do Samsung think UK customers are an easy rip off! Loyal customer hugely disappointed

Got mine today updated the software, starting using it and then suddenly it decided to refocus the image, basically making the displayed image completely unfocused and there is no easy way to get it to refocus, and of course could not read what the screen was displaying when looking at settings. Several reboots and physically moving the projector finally got it to focus correctly and sort the keystone.

  I have also no idea how I claim the £100 off and the free carry case, as the email indicated when I bought it, so far very unimpressed. I would advise you not to buy this device until Samsung fix the issues.

Just received my Freestyle and trying to update from current software version 1015 to 1081.  When I go through update now, it appears to download, installs to 99% then give a message "update failed".  Any resolution for this?
