Just curious...I have a Samsung Qled tv and just purchased a Samsung Q600a soundbar.
The soundbar is connected to the tv with a single hdmi cadle via the arc connection. I also have a Panasonic 4k blu ray player which is connected directly to the tv via an hdmi cable (not to the soundbar)
All works fine with the single hdmi cable connecting the soundbar to the arc on the tv so I wondered why the instructions for the soundbar talk about connecting the blu ray player to the soundbar via its second hdmi socket rather than the tv directly. Is there a reason for this?
Thanks in advance.
