I have set up a new Samsung soundbar (HW-J355) with an old (2008) Samsung TV (LE40A457C1D) via a Digital Optical lead. The sound bar is on, responding to the remote and set to D.IN but no sound is coming through. What am I missing? I have tried the SRS TS XT sound setting on the TV, without success.
Could it be relevant that I am using a Manhattan FreeView decoder (Plaza HDT2)?
