Samsung soundbar HW K850 stuck on Volmax

Hi

My Samsung Soundbar HW - K850 is stuck on volmax. I am unable to reduce the volume. Any suggestions to fix it please?

@Members_PAPvl9L: If you press the Volume Down button on the side of the soundbar (the '-' symbol), does the numerical value change on the display? Similarly, are you able to reduce the volume using the Volume Down button on the remote? If not, power it off and on again to see if this helps, and check the sound settings of the connected TV to see if there's anything that might restrict the volume control of external devices.

It seems that removing the ribbon cable from the socket on the PC board solves the problem.. You find the thread throughout the boards in many different sound bar models. It may be the ribbon cable is shifting a bit over time in the socket on the PC board. There is a little plastic key holding it into the socket be sure dream move that before you pull out the ribbon cable. This fix while not elegant has worked numerous times for numerous peoples
