I have just tested and confirmed, that this soundbar cannot handle LPCM audio.
This is problematic if you use an AppleTV 4k or if you play AAC 5.1 movies through something like an NVidia Shield using Plex.
Update: Firmware 1016.0 seems to have changed things a bit. Some users report that it's been fixed. For me, I'm now getting more than just stereo. But the rears don't work, their sound comes from the front (standard profile).
