I have a question regarding setting up my Q80R soundbar, Q80T TV and my Tivo box.
I haven't got the TV yet, it'll be here soon but the soundbar arrived today. I connected it to my Sony TV via a HDMI (clearly WiFi won't work as the TV is Sony).
There was a very slight lag to the sound, enough to make me feel uncomfortable. I googled a solution and that was to connect the Tivo to the Soundbar and allow the TV signal to pass through to the TV. That solved the lag. But, if I turn off the sound bar I now lose picture.
Plus, I bought both TV and Soundbar so I could use the WiFi function rather than HDMI/ARC. I'm trying to minimise cables.
Has anyone connected a set top box, particulary the Tivo, the Q80R Soundbar and the Q80T TV? Will I still have lag if I connect the Tivo to the TV and will I be able to connect via WiFI.
