I have just purchased a Q70t soundbar and have had trouble setting it up. I am using it with a series 4 UA60J6400W Samsung tv. Firstly I tried to use a HDMI cable from the ARC port on the TV to the ARC position on the soundbar. This had no effect. I ended up using a optical cable but from what I hear it is not the best option. After using the HDMI cable the screen display stayed on D.IN and TV ARC is not display. The second issue is not being able to connect the device to the WiFi in my house. Using the smart things app will find the soundbar but only ever gets to 37% and times out.

@Stu9: Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. Can you try removing the connecting HDMI cable, powering off both the TV and soundbar, then reconnect the HDMI cable, making sure that it's going from the the HDMI to TV (eARC/ARC) port of the soundbar to the HDMI IN (ARC) port of the TV. Now, power on the TV and soundbar, and TV ARC should appear in the display window. If it doesn't, press the source button on the remote to change to D.IN, after which the display should show D.IN, then TV ARC in sequence, and you should be good to go. The user manual recommends a coreless HDMI cable where possible, so this may be worth exploring if your issue persists.
