HW-S40T and Optical Audio Remote TV Control

Hello

I have the Frame 32" connected to a soundbar HW S40T.
The TV remote works well with the Bluetooth connection. However when the soundbar is connected through the optical cable, the TV remote does not control the soundbar. Is there anything special to do to make the TV remote control the soundbar in optical connection ?

Hey @phnw1 ,

at the moment the only way to use the same remote for a soundbar and a TV is by connecting them via HDMI or an optical cable. Find all the information about this HERE.

It is connected via optical cable, but the TV remote does not work. It only works in Bluetooth connection

How strange! Have you tested the steps listed on the link provided above @phnw1 ? If so, do you have any other cables to try to see if they make a difference?

it actually works with the main remote but not with the smart remote.
